Dandenong North assault, theft alleged

A man has been charged with assault, false imprisonment and theft of a motor vehicle after a car was stolen and crashed into a house in Dandenong North.

Dandenong detectives allege the 40-year-old Dandenong man assaulted a woman several times on May 15.

Police allege he stole a car and crashed through a fence.
