Witness call after assault

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an assault on the corner of Thomas and Clow streets, Dandenong.
A 27-year-old Dandenong man was punched in the face and kicked in the head during an altercation with an unknown man about 3.30pm on 30 September.
The assault left him unconscious. He was taken to The Alfred hospital for treatment.
About 20 people witnessed the incident but police are yet to make an arrest.
The alleged attacker is described as Middle Eastern in appearance, aged about 25 to 30 and 170 centimetres with a medium build.
He was wearing a white hat and black hooded jumper.
