Unprovoked assault

UP to four men launched an unprovoked attack on a Dandenong North man last week.
Greater Dandenong CIU Detective Sergeant Shane Pola said the victim, 41, was walking past 200 Lonsdale Street about 11pm on 30 March when three to four men of Islander appearance assaulted him.
He presented to Dandenong Hospital with facial injuries.
Det Sgt Pola urged any witnesses to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
