Shop owner stabbed

A DANDENONG business owner was stabbed three times in the back at his Foster Street store’s front door.
Greater Dandenong CIU Detective Senior Constable Mark Higgins said a black BMW sedan pulled up outside the business about 10.30am on Sunday 22 February.
A man got out of car’s front passenger seat, ran up behind the 35-year-old victim and stabbed him in the upper back with a kitchen knife or similar item.
The attacker ran back to the car and it left the scene.
Sen Const Higgins said the victim got into his own car and drove himself to Dandenong Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The detective urged anyone with information about the attack to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
