MELBOURNE’S south-east builders with an interest in VicUrban residential projects were part of a sustainability forum in Dandenong last week.
On Friday 10 October the Ramada Encore Hotel hosted VicUrban’s Builder’s Forum aimed at educating builders on development opportunities in the south-east, and the sustainable building practices they should consider implementing in those developments.
VicUrban general manager for marketing and sales Kirsten Rappolt said it was important to share development insights with builders to help the industry grow in response to environmental and market challenges.
“VicUrban has over 20 developments across Victoria with significant opportunities in the south-east.
By meeting face-to-face with builders, we can optimise these developments in partnership ensuring smart sustainable design to help create vibrant communities and protect the environment,” Ms Rappolt said.
