Burglar snares car and credit cards

A man that police wish to speak to about an alleged aggravated burglary and deception.

A man has allegedly stolen car keys and a car from a Noble Park home while the residents were asleep, police say.

The burglar is believed to have broken into the Craig Street unit via a rear laundry window between 10.15pm on 25 June and 3.30am on 26 June.

He stole keys for a 2014 VW Golf, and drove off in the vehicle, Greater Dandenong CIU detectives say.

A short time later, he has used the victim’s credit card to buy items from a service station on Cheltenham Road, Keysborough.

The car has since been recovered.

Police have released images of a man they believe can assist with their enquiries.

The man is described as 30 to 40 years old with a slim build and a moustache.
