An 18-year-old man has been punched in the face and robbed while walking on Wilma Avenue, Dandenong.

A vehicle has pulled a U-turn at Birdwood Avenue and stopped alongside the man about 12.20am on Tuesday 22 January.

A male got out of the back of the car and punched the victim in the face.

While on the ground, the victim had his phone, watch and backpack taken by his attacker.
