Four arrested after Market robbery

Four young adults have been arrested soon after a violent robbery outside Dandenong Market.

The two victims, aged 39 and 49, were approached by a female in the market’s car park off Clow Street about 1.30am on Sunday 21 April.

While distracted with her conversation, the victims were attacked by three males.

They were kicked, punched and head-butted and felled to the ground, police say.

The males allegedly rifled through the victims’ pockets, stealing cash and a phone.

The four offenders fled in a black Suzuki without number plates, which was intercepted by police a short time later.

The stolen items were discovered inside the car, police say.

A 25-year-old man, two 21-year-old men and a 21-year-old female were arrested and remanded in custody.

The victims were uninjured.
