Opportunity for growth

DANDENONG is fast becoming the ‘City of Opportunity’ for retailers, with major developments certain to boost business in the area.
A $290 million infrastructure package funded by the State Government, EastLink and ultimately a third rail link are all set to enhance the future of Central Dandenong.
City of Greater Dandenong chief executive John Bennie will address the February meeting of the Dandenong Retail Traders’ Association (DRTA), focusing on the future vision for central Dandenong.
DRTA chairman Roy Aspinall urged retailers to attend the meeting.
“Central Dandenong is entering one of the most exciting eras in its history and this will be an opportunity for retailers to discover more and to express their ideas and aspirations,” he said.
The meeting will be held in the President’s Room at the Grand at Dandenong on Tuesday, 6 February at 6pm.
