FOUR Greater Dandenong residents were among nine people arrested and charged with drug related offences last week.
Police have been conducting Operation Bourbon for three months focusing on drug use in Drouin and Warragul which finished on Thursday 7 April with the arrests.
The first arrest was of a 24-year-old Drouin man, allegedly made a drug deal with his suppliers in Keysborough.
After the arrest, police conducted simultaneous raids at six other premises in Keysborough, Noble Park, Ferntree Gully and Blackburn.
A 29-year-old and a 43-year-old from Keysborough, and a 20-year-old and a 39-year-old from Noble Park, were arrested and appeared at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on Friday on drug-related charges.
Four other people were arrested after the operation.
During the raids, police seized about 35 grams of crystal meth, up to one kilogram of suspected amphetamine, a sawn-off rifle, a stun gun, eight vehicles and various amounts of cash including $40,000 in multi-national currency.
