Stabbed in his sleep

A 40-YEAR-OLD Noble Park man could have permanent damage to his sight after he was assaulted while sleeping at a house party.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which occurred about 12.30am on 2 December at a home in Ellt Crescent, Noble Park.
Greater Dandenong CIU Acting Detective Sergeant Luke Kirton said the attacker stabbed the victim with a sharp object as he slept on a couch, causing a laceration and serious damage to his right eye that required surgery.
“There’s a possibility of permanent damage,” he said.
He said several people were at the home at the time, and urged them to come forward.
