DRUM Theatre will host SING! The Beggars Tribute to the Great Vocal Groups this month.
The group topped the European Country Music Charts and will bring well-known Australian and international songs from the 1950s and ’60s to Dandenong.
Artists covered will include Peter, Paul and Mary, The Mamas and the Papas and The Seekers.
– 30 and 31 October, 10.30am. Drum Theatre, corner Lonsdale and Walker streets, Dandenong. Tickets are $20 for adults, $13.50 for Drum members and $16 for groups of four or more.

Multicultural issues forum
VICTORIAN Multicultural Commission (VMC) will host a forum in Dandenong for feedback on how government services can be improved for people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
Participants can share their experiences and ask questions to shape services for the future.

Safe City Day
CITY of Greater Dandenong will join forces with Victoria Police, Metro Trains, Neighbourhood Watch and the community to promote safety at Dandenong railway station this month.
The Safe City Day will promote key safety messages and improve community perceptions of the local area.
It will feature live music and catering by Dandenong Market chef Russell Bald.

Planning for retirement
A FREE super seminar in Dandenong this month will provide advice on making retirement dreams come true.
Catholic Super member and employer services general manager Tom Sammann will present the event, designed to keep people informed about superannuation and help them plan a financially secure future.

Free medical advice
HEALTH professionals will be on hand for medical advice at a free seminar in Springvale.
The annual event is organised by the Australian Audio-Visual Art Association will feature Monash Health surgeon Alan Saunders, GPs and nurses.
