DANDENONG’S finest will take over the world’s greatest cricket ground on Sunday as Southern Pioneers and Gippsland Pride vie for Victoria’s greatest underage cricketing titles.
Players from Dandenong Women’s Cricket Club – Alana King, Chelsea Moscript, Beth Serong and Georgia Fisher among others – and Dandenong District Cricket Association (DDCA) juniors from various clubs will vie for the Under-18 VicSpirit Pathway Championships and the Under-18 Victorian Bushrangers Pathway Championships at the MCG on Sunday 23 February.
The Southern Pioneers side will be captained by Berwick’s Tanner Stanton while the Gippsland Pride is led by Moscript.
