Hot breakfast for Bunga Bunga Ice cream for Marsha

By JASON ADAMS

CELEBRITY greyhound Bunga Bunga stole the show last Thursday night at Sandown Park, collecting her first city win in just her 18th start.
Trained by the Greenough kennel, Bunga Bunga flew out of box one stopping the clock at a fast 5.08 to the first split. Once she settled at the head of the field it was game, set and match. She then went on to extend her early lead to win by three lengths in a smart 29.76.
The win was her second on the trot, having won her previous race at Cranbourne.
Owned by Triple M’s Hot Breakfast team, Bunga Bunga has always shown ability ever since winning on debut at Warragul, however, keeping her on the track has always been an issue for connections.
A rise in distance could be imminent for Bunga Bunga, having already had a stint over the journey earlier in the year.
Bunga Bunga or ‘Marsha’ as she is known as at the kennel, was treated to soft serve ice cream on the way home after her win.
