Electric circuits

This Me and My Dad workshop is for children aged seven to 11 years old and a parent or carer.
Participants will learn the basic elements of an electric circuit and construct series and parallel circuits.

  • Level two, Dandenong Library, 225 Lonsdale Street, Dandenong. Saturday 13 May, 3pm. Bookings are essential. Call 1300 630 920.


Chinese tai chi

Learn gentle meditation, mind-body practice and relaxation.
These classes are open to all fitness levels and comfy clothes are the only requirement.

  • Springvale Neighbourhood House, 46-50 Queens Avenue, Springvale. Thursdays, 8.30am to 9am free of charge. Sundays, 3pm to 5pm, $2 per class. No bookings required. Call 9548 3972 for more information.

The Gatherers

Artists Susan Hall and Meg Viney collect materials from the environment to create art about the natural world’s fragility.

Amanda Fewell has hand embroidered and appliqued flags to reflect themes relating to Australian identity and Australian values.

Evening with David Hobson
