AN Endeavour Hills man told police last Thursday that he had loaned his car to another person, only to have it returned with unknown chemicals inside.
Detective Sergeant Glenn Northeast, of the Casey CIU said police were investigating the substances and what they may have been used for, including whether they were used in the manufacture of drugs.
“The investigation is ongoing and we haven’t charged anyone yet but we need to treat it as a worst case scenario.”
