Gang attack leaves man unconscious

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an assault outside a Dandenong night club that left a man unconscious.
Greater Dandenong CIU Acting Detective Sergeant Luke Kirton said several men, described as African in appearance, set upon a 30-year-old Cranbourne North man in Langhorne Street about 10.40pm on 17 August.
He said the victim was punched and kicked to the head, which left him unconscious and suffering facial injuries.
An ambulance took him to Dandenong Hospital for treatment.
Police arrested and interviewed four men, who’ve been released pending summons – a 19-year-old and a 20-year-old from Dandenong North, an 18-year-old from Elwood and an 18-year-old from Doveton.
