ENDEAVOUR Hills students raised more than $1000 to help wishes come true this month.
Maranatha Christian School joined with Dandenong disability support service Wallara for Wheeling 4 Wishes.
The wheelchair basketball tournament was part of Wallara’s Insight program, which is about raising secondary school students’ awareness of disability.
The students organised a sausage sizzle for the day and raised $1307.80 for the Wallara Wish Foundation, which grants wishes to people with disabilities – from short holidays to new wheelchairs, IT equipment and special experiences.
The foundation relies solely on donations. Visit www.wallara.com.au for more information.
