Police seize drugs and gun

POLICE have seized thousands of dollars worth of marijuana, a shotgun and explosives from a Dandenong warehouse.
Greater Dandenong CIU Detective Leading Senior Constable Kane Taylor said Dandenong Tasking Unit members executed a drug warrant at a factory in Brooklyn Avenue on 10 April.
They found 500 grams of cannabis, one gram of hashish, cannabis seeds, five cannabis plants, a shotgun, ammunition and explosives.
A 58-year-old Dandenong man has been bailed to appear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 21 May over the haul.
“It’s always concerning to find firearms and ammunition and a relief to get them off the street,” Det Sen Const Taylor said.
