Traffic stopper

A DRIVER has been injured after crashing into traffic lights on the Princes Highway at Springvale on Wednesday afternoon.
A police spokeswoman said the man appeared to have lost control of his vehicle before crashing about 1pm at the Corrigan Road intersection.
The man has been taken to Dandenong Hospital in a stable condition.
Southbound lanes on Corrigan Road have been closed, and northbound traffic diverted.
Traffic is restricted to one lane city bound on the highway.
