Thieves left a man bloodied and swollen after a robbery in Dandenong – all for $20.
Greater Dandenong CIU Senior Constable Riley Wesley said the victim, 38, was walking near Stud and Heatherton roads about 9pm on 8 November.
Two men of African appearance approached and demanded cash, threatening to bash the victim if he didn’t comply.
The Carrum Downs man handed over $20 but the thieves then demanded his wallet and assaulted him.
Sen Const Wesley said the victim suffered swelling and bleeding to the face.
