Girl,10, grabbed by ponytail

A man grabbed a 10-year-old girl by her ponytail and pulled her towards him in an attempted abduction in Springvale, police allege.
The Dandenong Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team detectives are appealing for help to find the man following the Wednesday 1 February incident.
On Saturday 18 February they released a digital image of a man they believe might be able to assist with their inquiries.
They said the girl was waiting with a friend near Springvale Road and Windsor Avenue about 3.30pm when a man approached.
He asked the victim to come with him, and said he would buy her anything she wanted, police said.
When the girl declined the offer, the man grabbed her ponytail and pulled her towards him.
The man is described as having dark skin with white pigmentation on his neck and arms, dark hair and yellow teeth.
Call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential crime report to www.crimestoppersvic.com.au with any information.
