Caravan of courage

By Casey Neill

Dandenong jobseekers have made life easier for visitors to Wugullar Aboriginal School.
Linfox will transport a refurbished caravan to the school in Katherine, Northern Territory.
Envision Employment Services officially handed over the Caravan of Goodwill to students from the school at its Heart Street, Dandenong, office on Friday 17 February.
Unemployed jobseekers taking part in the Work for the Dole program did all the hard work, with guidance from a supervisor.
The project was designed to upskill the participants to make them more ready for future employment.
The Caravan of Goodwill will provide accommodation for allied health professionals, teachers and other professionals visiting the remote school.
The Work for the Dole participants were sponsored by Job Prospects and funded by the federal Department of Employment.
