Foiled bid to burgle car

A Dandenong woman confronted a would-be burglar in her garage.
Greater Dandenong CIU Detective Senior Constable Tony Lavars said the 51-year-old woke to noises coming from the Grace Avenue garage about 8.30am on Wednesday 12 April.
She entered the room and saw a Caucasian man believed to be aged in his mid-thirties standing beside her vehicle.
The victim asked him what he was doing and he walked outside. He appeared to leave the scene in a white-coloured sedan.
Call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 with any information.
