Police are appealing for information about a suspicious car fire in Bangholme.
Greater Dandenong CIU Senior Constable Liam Comrie said the red Holden station wagon was stolen from outside a Eumemmerring home on Saturday 1 July.
He said the interior and engine had been removed before it was torched on Harwood Road, Bangholme, about 3am on Friday, 28 July.
The CFA attended and extinguished the fire.
Sen Const Comrie urged anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
