A day for Indonesia

A day of Indonesian delights will celebrate two special events.
The Indonesian Women’s Friendship Network will present the Indonesian Multicultural Festival of Victoria on Sunday 22 April.
The Dandenong Market event will run from 10am to 3pm, and will mark Earth Day (22 April) and Kartini Day (21 April).

She was a national hero and a pioneer in the emancipation of Indonesian women.
The day will include multi-cultural food, Indonesian food and drinks, trades and services, live music and dance, workshops, a cultural concert, a fashion show and a dress parade.
The purpose is to promote Indonesian culture and respect for diversity.
