Woman dies at crash scene

A car struck and killed a woman in Dandenong.
The pedestrian, believed to be aged in her late fifties, was hit while crossing Stud Road about 1.05pm on Thursday 5 April.
Emergency services tried to revive her but she died at the scene.
The 24-year-old man behind the car that hit her stopped at the scene and was assisting police.
Investigators urged anyone who witnessed the incident to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
