Robbery victim fights back

A woman has beaten off a would-be robber in a Dandenong car park at night.

The 25-year-old had got off a bus at Clow Street and walked across the car park towards Dandenong Plaza about 7pm on 25 July.

A man grabbed her by the arm and demanded her phone.

She kicked the man and ran from the scene, reporting the incident to Dandenong police station.

The man was described as 20 years, Caucasian, 180 centimetres and wearing dark grey tracksuit pants and a dark-blue hoodie.
