Armed robbers at large

Police remain on the hunt for two offenders involved in an armed robbery of a pokies venue in Police Road Mulgrave last year.

Armed Crime Squad detectives say two men armed with firearms held-up the venue just before 6.30pm on 2 March 2018.

They demanded and received some cash before being chased by patrons into a nearby car park.

A shot was allegedly fired into the roof. A person was assaulted and was taken to hospital with minor injuries, police say.

The robbers escaped in a get-away car driven by a third unknown offender.

Police arrested a 44-year-old Endeavour Hills man in Springvale on 6 September 2019.

He was charged with armed robbery and conduct endangering life.

The other two alleged offenders remain at large.
