Handbag stolen in home invasion

A woman has forced entry into a Dandenong home through the front bedroom window and stolen a handbag while occupants lay asleep inside.

A Caucasian female was observed gaining entry through the front bedroom window to a Scott Street premises at about 6:30pm on Tuesday 19 November before fleeing on foot with a handbag.

Most of the contents of the handbag have been located however a credit card has been retained by the offender and used to make a number of fraudulent purchases.
