Fire crews hosed down a kitchen fire in Jindabyne Avenue, Dandenong North.
About 12 FRV firefighters responded to a triple-0 call, arriving at the house about 2.48pm on Wednesday 21 April.
They quickly extinguished the fire.
The blaze was brought under control nine minutes after the crews’ arrival, an FRV spokesperson said.
