Image released over hit-run incident

POLICE have revealed an image of a man they want to speak to in relation to a hit-and-run in Springvale last month.

An 85-year-old Springvale man remains in hospital after his mobility scooter was struck by a car in the crash in Regent Street, on March 17.

Police released the facial image today and said the car involved is described as a dark-grey, mid-1990s Holden Commodore sedan, either VR or VS series.

It may have damage and red-paint transfer to the left rear side, near the tailight.

The injured man is in The Alfred hospital in a stable condition.
