Heatherton Road’s congested level crossing at Noble Park is not on VicRoads’ priority list for grade separation.

Regional director Peter Todd said 12 level crossings including in Springvale Road, Springvale, would be removed first before grade separation at the Heatherton Road crossing would be considered. The crossing is one of three in Noble Park.

Mr Todd said VicRoads was investigating “other improvement options” at the crossing to help ease congestion. A VicRoads spokeswoman said these options had not yet been formulated.
