According to research by the union United Voice, in the past three months fees have risen by 3.7 per cent.

State secretary Jess Walsh said the “massive” fee rises coupled with a turnover of 32 per cent of childcare workers in Australia each year showed the rebate-funded childcare system was “in crisis”.
