Police ram, raid Noble Park home

By Cameron Lucadou-Wells

A HOUSE was rammed and raided by armed special-operations police in Bloomfield Avenue, Noble Park, about 7.30am this morning.

A witness told the Weekly that a man complied with a police request to come out with his hands empty and he was led from the scene.

3AW Radio reported an hour ago the raid was part of ongoing investigations into weapons and assaults offences in the area.

A police spokeswoman said the special-operations squad often assisted conventional police with arrests under warrant.

She wouldn’t reveal details ‘‘for operational reasons’’.
