VSDCA: looks for cricket umpires

THE Victorian Sub-District Cricket Association is looking for umpires for the 2012-13 season.

VSDCA matches are played across Melbourne and provides leading matches on turf. Whether you are looking to progress to the higher levels of Premier Cricket or just want to umpire at a high level then the VSDCA is the place to start.

Additional appointments are also available to umpiring country week matches, under-15 Hatch Shield matches and Twenty20 Twilight matches some selected Tuesday nights.

The VSDCA also provides training on the laws of cricket, pennant rules and umpiring techniques held at the umpires’ association on monthly meetings.

An association spokesman said arrangements could also be made to give umpires matches closer to their home suburb.

For more information, call Brian Goodman on 0408 338 098.
