Gang mugs 73-year-old man in Dandenong

A GROUP of four men – one armed with a knife – mugged a 73-year-old man in Dandenong last Thursday.

The elderly man was on the footpath behind Lorraine Street and approached the group, which included a youth believed to be aged about 15.

The group demanded cash and the contents of the man’s pockets. He handed over his keys and was able to escape after the knife-carrying offender was pulled back by the group.

Anyone with any information should call Crime Stoppers, 1800 333 000 or online, crimestoppers.com.au.
