Premier Cricket: Dandenong Panthers through to semi-finals

By ROY WARD

DANDENONG Panthers have won their way through to the Premier Cricket semi finals this weekend.

The Panthers will face Melbourne at the Albert Ground this Saturday and Sunday for a place in the Premier Cricket final.

If the Panthers make the season decider it will be their third-straight grand final appearance.

The Panthers beat St Kilda at Shepley Oval in their quarter final on Sunday, chasing down the Saints 5-163 declared with vice-captain Tom Donnell (79 off 89) and Charith Cooray (47) doing the bulk of the work adding 112 for the second wicket as the Panthers finished on 5-164.

Prahran will host Ringwood at Toorak Park in the other semi final.
