An elderly woman was assaulted in a ‘‘genuine random act of violence’’ while walking her dog in Endeavour Hills parkland. Casey CIU police say she was pushed to the ground by a man about 4pm on April 17. The offender said ‘‘Cop that!’’. The woman sustained a broken pelvis and two broken ribs.
