Bomb found in car in Dandenong 

Two police walking the beat in Dandenong have discovered what they believe is a homemade bomb. Dandenong police were patrolling in Bennet Street near Greaves Reserve about 4.30am on Saturday when they spotted a suspicious car. The officers then allegedly found a device, which was disabled by the bomb response unit. A 23-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman, both of Glen Waverley, were arrested at the scene and were assisting police.
