VANDALS have started a fire in a Noble Park food shop.
Greater Dandenong CIU Detective Senior Constable Marissa Owens said they had forced entry to the Douglas Street premises about 1.30am on Monday 7 March.
The CFA was called to the scene and extinguished the fire.
Det Sen Const Owens said the incident caused smoke and water damage and appealed for anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
