Bashed and bruised for $20

Thieves left a man bloodied and swollen after a robbery in Dandenong – all for $20.
Greater Dandenong CIU Senior Constable Riley Wesley said the victim, 38, was walking near Stud and Heatherton roads about 9pm on 8 November.
Two men of African appearance approached and demanded cash, threatening to bash the victim if he didn’t comply.
The Carrum Downs man handed over $20 but the thieves then demanded his wallet and assaulted him.
Sen Const Wesley said the victim suffered swelling and bleeding to the face.
Call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 with any information.
