United stand against bullying

Noble Park Secondary College students united against bullying and violence.
They spelled out the school’s initials and held up signage with the message “bullying – no way” on Friday 17 March.
“We are very proud to be a part of something so positive and to stand together, united on this National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence,” assistant principal Peter Jeans said.
He said that in the lead-up to the day, students took part in activities to build awareness and promote safety.
“This included students in Years 7 to 9 attending an anti-bullying play run by Brainstorm Productions, which they found very impacting,” he said.
“This was followed up with small group sessions to discuss issues.”
Victoria Police Youth Liaison Officers and Victorian Legal Aid visited the school to run workshops and discuss bullying and cyber safety with all students.
