SPRINGVALE Tattslotto outlet, 18 Lucky Lotto, has sold its fifth winning entry in just over a year.
The ticket for the $33 million Tattslotto jackpot, drawn on 30 December, won $1.65 million for its owner.
The outlet, owned by Raymond Van and his wife Michelle, has sold 16 winning tickets since the couple bought the business in April 2003.
The winning tickets have included a Wednesday night Tattslotto win of $283,000, a win of $363,600 in Saturday Tattslotto and a Powerball jackpot of $6 million.
The $6 million ticket was sold in May last year and is 18 Lucky Lotto’s biggest winner.
Mr Van said he was very happy to have sold another winning ticket and said he felt his outlet was very lucky.
As to why 18 Lucky Lotto is so lucky, Mr Van says that he’s just a lucky man and the name of the outlet makes it a lucky place to buy tickets.
To date, Geelong outlets have been the luckiest in Victoria, with 15 winning entries in 2006 totalling more than $9 million.
