Police pleased with drugs seizure

POLICE seized a large haul of heroin and cocaine from a Springvale property last month.
Detectives raided the Ellen Street house at 11am on Friday 29 May, seizing 115 grams of heroin, 85 grams of cocaine, two grams of methamphetamine and a quantity of cannabis.
Two men were arrested at the scene, with one released on bail and one remanded in custody.
Springvale Acting Senior Sergeant Andrew Smart said the raid was a “good result”, with the seizure a “commercial quantity” of the drugs.
