ORCHIDS of all shapes, sizes and hues were in the spotlight in Noble Park.
The Dandenong and District Orchid Society held its annual show at the Paddy O’Donoghue Centre on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September.
Julianna and Gabor Szep won the Champion Orchid of the Show prize, Champion by an Open Grower and Champion Australian Native Hybrid.
Peter Miller won the Mayoral Award for his dendrobium speciosum and Show Reserve Champion for his dendrobium delicatum.
The Dandenong and District Orchid Society formed in 1992 for people to learn about and enjoy cultivating and conserving orchids.
The group welcomes all orchid growers from novices to experts to attend free monthly meetings held in Dandenong.
