DANDENONG’S Kate Cumber will climb more than 1600 steps in a bid to inspire.
The Genesis Dandenong fitness instructor and personal trainer has signed up for the Eureka Climb, on Sunday 15 November.
The finish line is at the Eureka Tower Skydeck – 88 floors or 1646 steps up.
“Some of my clients need motivation,” Ms Cumber said.
She said others had reached their goal weight and needed another challenge.
“I’ve been including extra stairs and extra hills into my workouts,” she said.
“I’ve done it before, two years ago, and I came second.
“I really want to win though.”
Australia’s biggest vertical race up Melbourne’s tallest building will raise money for Whitelion and Interplast Australia and New Zealand.
It’s open to anyone aged 12 years and older and there will be timed and un-timed stairwells available.
