The police Homicide Squad has been called in after a woman’s body was found at a residence in Douglas Street, Noble Park.
The body was found shortly after 9am on Monday 29 July.
A man, believed to be known to the dead woman, is being questioned by police.
The exact circumstances of the incident and cause of death are yet to be established at this stage, according to police.
