An alleged fugitive has been dramatically arrested on a rooftop in Hammond Road Dandenong.
Divisional Response Unit police officers had been chasing the man before climbing onto the roof to secure his arrest.
Police say the man had escaped from police a few days earlier.
He was charged with resisting police and escaping custody, as well as aggravated burglary and theft of motor vehicle.
The man was remanded in custody.
