Dandenong drug bust as bad driving leads police to haul

By JARED LYNCH, The Age

A MAN caught driving erratically has led police to uncover a haul of cash and drugs.

The 29-year-old man from Lynbrook was nabbed after protective service officers noticed his strange behaviour behind the wheel while they were on a routine patrol of Dandenong railway station about 10.30pm on Sunday.

Dandenong police were called and intercepted the car on Foster Street, Victoria Police spokeswoman Melissa Seach said.

“A search of the car found a large amount of cash, several bags of powder, pills and cannabis,” Senior Constable Seach said.

The man was arrested and is assisting police with their inquiries.
